Scottish rock unit We Were Promised Jetpacks have announced an autumn tour of the United States in support of their new album ‘Enjoy the View’, which was released via Big Scary Monsters (order).

We Were Promised Jetpacks guitarist and vocalist Adam Thompson comments:We’ve played 40 shows in North America this year and decided that wasn’t enough, so we’re coming back in the fall! Can’t wait to come dance to a bunch of places we missed earlier this year!

Drummer Darren Lackie adds:Having had so much free time on tour has given us a renewed desire to get out there and perform in front of as many people, in as many different places, as possible. We so appreciate the people who listen to us; it is thanks to them that we constantly strive to improve ourselves.”
