The album, which was originally due out last month and was given an alternate release date for January 21, arrives today instead as Choppa wanted to show respect for the release of fellow Memphian’s tribute album. YoungDolph, LLD, released last week. Choppa’s latest release features the talking rhyme while providing sounds for all ears. The old 2020 XXL Freshman also shared via Twitter that his favorite track from the LP is “Youngest to Do It”. me against me is Choppa’s first album in almost a year. He freed From darkness to light and Top Shotta in 2020.
Los Angeles rhymer Kyle releases his fifth studio album, It’s not so bad. The effort, which is being sold as an NFT, contains 12 songs in total. Kyle revealed via Twitter in December last year that his label would not be getting a share of the royalties from his new work. “IT’S NOT SO BAD – MY FIFTH PROJECT – JANUARY 28th Instead of splitting the royalties with the label, I will be selling this project as NFT to give my fans the opportunity to own this project with me. We are in this together. Forever and ever. @opulousapp,” he wrote. His last album, See you soon when I’m famous!!!!!!!!!!!!came out in 2020.
Another Memphis native, BlocBoy JB, is also delivering a new mixtape this week. Wednesday, January 26, BlocBoy’s Bac 2 Da Bloc with Tennessee producer Tay Keith arrived. The 16-song soundtrack features appearances from Pooh Shiesty, EST Gee, SpotemGottem and more. BlocBoy’s latest comes two years after the release of fat boywhich dropped in 2020.
