Kizz Daniel – Barnabas
The marriage of pop and Afrobeat accomplished by Kizz Daniel makes him a beloved artist. In 2020, the Nigerian artist released the favorite Audiomack King of love, his third album. King of love raised the star by approaching love from all angles, and today he returns with Barnabas. With the highlife group The Cavemen. and led by the single “Lie” by Re-Upped, Barnabas brings the fiery quality of King of love into a new realm of shine and polish, especially on the seething title track.
KCee – Cultural atmosphere
After spending over a decade in a hip-hop duo, Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer KCee established himself as the royalty of solo music in the 2010s. more afropop, his latest release Cultural atmosphere draws from its Igbo roots, resulting in a sincere and earthy air. âI switched to rap and then to afropop because I wanted to make money,â KCee explained in January. âI have seen and done everything. D-Block Europe – Home alone 2
The goats are back, literally: the cover of the new album by British hip-hop duo D-Block Europe features a coat goat. Home alone 2 follows 2019 Alone at home and their debut album of 2020. The Alone at home the sequel features guest verses from Mr. Huncho, AJ Tracey and more, and as winter sets in, the somber tones (“Chrome Hearts”, especially with its excellent Offset verse and Tion Wayne’s performance on ” Be Polite “) make it a solid soundtrack on dark morning nights.
Lancey Foux – LIVE.BAD
Whether it’s dropping bars to YouTube beats, touring with Skepta, being named one of 10 rappers you should know in December of last year, Lancey Foux’s come-up. is as energetic as his music. Earlier this year, the East London rapper quit FIRST DEGREE, and today he returns with 13 new songs in LIVE.BAD. With a production that mostly sounds like the club collapsing under your feet as the DJ booth implodes, Foux even shines on “calmer” tunes like “I KNOW”. âI always try to make everything sound like no one else,â he said.
